Hi everyone, I have a question about my braking system. I went to leave work last week and noticed that my brake pedal wash without pressure and I guess what people say spongy feeling?
I haven't had any problems with my brakes. I got out, looked at the master cylinder fluid and it was full. I drove about 13 blocks and pulled into a shopping plaza just to check it, I saw a puddle of brake fluid on the ground under where the master cylinder sits and some little drops like it was following me as I drove.
I bought brake fluid I filled it up and I proceeded to drive at 35 mph home which was about 6 MI. So since my brake pedal was spongy and I saw the brake fluid coming from the master cylinder, I replaced it.
Then when I went to bleed my brakes, no fluid was coming out of the right passenger side where I started at to bleed, nothing was coming out but I heard an air noise and when I looked towards the front it was leaking from the brake line about even with the radiator on the right side of the truck. It was Rusty and I noticed a pinhole. I did buy the kit and instead of bench bleeding it off the truck I put it on the truck and run the two little lines into the master cylinder and pumped and pumped and pumped until there was no air bubbles coming out.
So my question is I see the line where that has the pin hole but I'm going to try to do it myself but does anybody know the route that it goes because I don't see it.
thanks that is from front brake line at 1/2 way up even with right center of the radiator
