2010 Avalanche Bluetooth pairing problem
Hi everyone:
I have a 2010 Avalanche Z71 that was exceptionally well cared for by the previous owner. But I have a frustrating problem with paring my phone to the radio.
It has the 7 speaker Bose system w/o navigation and it sounds beautiful. My wife and I both have new Pixel 9 phones that we got at the same time, I can't get my phone to pair at all. It will not even find "General Motors" unless I restart the phone first. When I select General Motors the pop-up window that asks for the 4 digit code will disappear before I can touch it with the message that I entered a wrong code. If I do get the chance to enter the code it will still say wrong code even if the code is correct. Sometimes it will simply say "unable to communicate". After a failed attempt it will NOT find General Motors again unless I restart my phone. My wife's identical Pixel 9 will easily connect and stay connected with no drama at all. Both phones will easily connect to any other Bluetooth device we wish to connect to. All my attempts were done with my phone NOT in the protective case. We even went to the dealer where we got the phones and they said the phone is fine and that I should contact a Chevrolet dealer but it works perfect with my wife's phone.
Any suggestions?
