Default Daytime running lights won't come on

My 2010 avy DRL won't come on however the headlights do come on when it statrs to get dark so the sensor is working. These are brand new brand name DRL bulbs so I know they're not the problem plus the chance of both going out at the same time is unlikely. I checked the under hood fuses 31 and 33 both good. What else can I check?

I'm not 100% about this but don't they only come on when the vehicle is in drive? If the headlights are coming on when it's starting to get dark then the dash sensor is working.

The smaller daytime running lights underneath the main heaglight don't come on at all. I parked in front of a store with reflective window so I can see if the light came on when truck is in drive but no DRLs.

I went to look for the DRL relay under the hood in the fuse box but there is no DRL relay there according to the layout. Where else would it be?

Default running lights

Im in the process of upgrading my headlights to aftermarket on my 04 Silverado. In the process I noticed that my daytime driving lights do not come on. Replaced the bulbs. Looks as if the receptacles were blackened a little, but only one bulb looked burned out. Lights still dont come on. Looking for answers to the same situation..
