Hi I have a 06 avalanche n I try to power break but the traction control won't let me. I tried disabling the traction but nothing. Anyone know of a bypass that will temporarily will disable the traction control.

 

If your vehicle does not allow you to manually turn off the traction control system, pull the fuse that powers the traction control or vehicle stability system It is normally located in the fuse box in the cabin under the dash.

 

Press and HOLD the traction control button. You will here a chime ring and a light come come on on the dash.

 

my question is why?
