HELP!! PLEAE READ ON...important questions
Ok so today was the first time I washed my Av and I notcied I got some water in the cabin on the passenger side rear seat. I thought it was just from direct wetting to the window area, but tonight its raining and it is still leaking slowly. What I noticed when I took lowered the midgate and left the window up in place, that there is a slight gap on between the gasket of the 1st piece of the cover and the window gasket. This gap is only on one side and it kind of looks like to me that maybe something is out of square because the dirvers side rear seat doesnt have that problem. I am under warrenty but is it even worth bring up to them or am i safer with the factor installed gaskets vs a probable dealer installed gasket to maybe fix the prob. Also where this water travels through on the inside of the truck is on the plasic near the hinging part of the midgate...is there a drain there or is it just finding the low part of the area...basically is there drains in the cabin near the midgate already built in?
Also a little off topic but when i bought the truck i requested that the dealer throw in the all weather mats for the front and rear and recently i went to pick it up and only got the fronts. Obviously i was pissed beyon belief because it was promised to me so I called Chevy USA and they basically heard my side of the story and then called the dealer for their side of the story and at the end of the call with Chevy, they said that the dealer is right and doesnt have to supply it if they didnt promise (although the dealer lied toChevy about not promising). Any way a few days ago I got a call from the dealer's general salesmanager because he was pissed that I complained andsaid that he will give me the rear mat as long as when I get the survey from GMasking mehow satisified I am with my dealership, i have to bring it in to the dealer with me and give them a good score to recieve my mat. What should i do...Should i call Chevy back and tell them that I am being bribed/ extorted? or should I get my mats and take my buisness somewhere else?

For the first, see the service department..
The second..take it any way you like, prolly the sales guy said all weather mats and you figured both sets, he figured one set, miscommunication? who knows, its not uncommon to offer gas/gifts for good survey scores, these weigh heavily on GM stores and usually the salesguy in particular..
for a bad one here I lose 2% commission, so its a big deal for me, and I offer everyone one of my customers a full tank of fuel to bring the CSI back..
so take it any way you like it, do you want your mats?, then take it in and let it go, its not going to matter if you call them and say they are 'extorting' you, however from the delers perspective it will matter, dealers get money from GM to maintain good CSI scores....so I guees if you want the mats you take it in, or dont get the mats and complain...your choice, just remember in the end the CSI falls on the SALESMAN, so how bad do you not like your salesguy.

Just an FYI - I almost had the same problem. bought my Av a week ago, and made the all weather mats part of the deal. when he mentioned he would have to order them the parts guy asked if it was just the front, or the front & back (the back is 1 piece, not 2 separate).
My point, is that I would let it go. I have confidence that it was an honest mis-communication for two reasons:
1 - they are ordered separately - they do not come as a set including all 3
2 - The dealer does not want to lose you as customer, get a bad sat score, nor have bad word of mouth
Now, that being said, I can also understand where you are coming from. You feel like you made a fair deal for the vehicle, and now it seems like they are trying to pull something on you.
I am the same way, but you will be MUCH happier if you let it go, and spend your time enjoying you new truck:-)
