Low oil pressure light is on
I have a 2011 Chevy avalanche. I had to disconnect my battery for a period of time so I could replace a camshaft postion sensor. When I started truck up the low oil pressure light was on. Checked the oil it is fine.
Not thinking its the sensor or the oil pump we replaced those spring of 2020.
My question is,is there a reset I need to do or what could be other possibilities?

Usually the first thing to come to mind , RECHECK your work.
Then make sure the wire from the oil pressure sending unit did not get pinched somewhere during the time work was done.
If the wire from the sending unit gets grounded , it can cause the light to illuminate..
