This 2008 Avalanche (as a recap) had three issues (2013, 2015, and Apr 2017) with engine light rough ride, oil getting into plugs. (All cost roughly 900 each time). In June 2017 took vehicle to dealer because of engine light. This time only $327 for vent solenoid. Took the family to Western Washington in July, checked the oil and I could see it was using oil and you guessed it -- the engine light came on again. Tried to get into Chevy service in Puyallup (too busy)-- then inquired about buying a Chevy (the salesman was great) but the manager did not seem to want to do business (maybe because I lived in Montana). My son took me to the Ford dealer and I bought a new F150 Platinum. (They even took the Avalanche as a trade). No more Chevys for me
