95' Corsica Smoke
Hi.
This week-end, I drove on the high way for about an hour. After 30 minutes, I overtook a series of cars at 70Mph and when I got back on the right lane ( I don't know if it's because of that or not ), I noticed that a little bit of smoke was comming out of the steering wheel area and it lasted for at least 15 seconds, then it stoped. I had the vent on at the time and the radio. It didn't do it in 5 days, but I'm still concerned for my security and the car. What should I do?

Thank you.

First off welcome to the forum!! Stop by the Newmember welcome area and introduce yourself!!!!
Now it sounds like you have a combination of an exhaust leak(maybe Manifold gasket) And a leak in your firewall. I would open your hood while the engine is running and try to pinpoint an exhaust leak. Also if you can see any holes in your firewall you could try spraying some foam in a can to seal it! Hope this helps!

Well it's been a week now and there's still no smoke comming out of the column and all of the electrical stuff on the column work, do you still think that it's an electrical problem?
I also tought that I saw smoke today, but it was, in fact, the sun that glowed on the steering... I'm starting to wonder if I imagined everything or... Hmm, is there an easy way to remove the steering column cover? If not I'll take it to the garage on monday.
Thanks.
