2021 Blazer Premiere with V92 tow package
Just picked up new Blazer. Owners manual states that the wiring harness for the brake controller consists of four blunt-cut wires located behind the dash under the headlight switch. Struggle and try as I might I cannot find said wiring. Called the dealer and had them verify that the build sheet shows that I should have the V92 trailering package. Done some searching online and found instances for similar vehicles stating that the wire is behind the kick panel to the left of the pedals, another states that the wiring is under the center console and that needs to be removed in order to connect the controller.
Also, according to the manual, the hot wire for the controller needs to be connected in the engine compartment. Couldn’t find that wire either.
Hoping someone has solved this problem already, or else I have to take the truck in. Service manager said it would be a couple of hours work to find that sounds hard to believe. I really don’t want to take a day off simply to find a set of wires...

Dropped Blazer off at dealer. They had to contact Chevy Tech Support who gave them a list of 5 places where the wiring could be. They were able to locate them inside the center console. I asked if they had pulled the wiring harness out so I could access it and they said no, they could not reach the wires. Apparently the drivers seat will have to come out so they can reach them.
The dealer said they would work up an estimate to pull the wires out. I told them I would accept a time estimate but not a cost estimate, I expect them to put the wires where they are supposed to be at no charge to me.
I will update when I have heard from the dealer again.
SMH....

Dealer stated they wanted $200 to place the wiring where I could reach them. Moving the wires from where they were placed to where I could reach them is considered a “modification” by the dealer. I pointed out that not only had I already paid to have the trailering package installed, but the manual stated that the wiring would be located behind the dash (page 250).
It took some work but I was able to convince them to do it at no charge.
I can now reach the wiring harness under the dash. Once I install the rest of the harness I’ll know if they hooked up the 12v as well
