Oil leak and Radiator leak on a 2 1/2 year blazer
My 2021 Chevy Blazer RS was purchased brand new at zero miles in January of 2022. I have had it 2 years and 10 months. I just was told that I have an Oil leak and a Radiator leak all at the same time. The dealership got the oil leak covered under the power train warranty (I have 45,000 miles), but the Radiator estimate is $1900, and has to be replaced.
How in the world does such a new car, that has been very well taken care of have so many major problems two years later? I was told that these are "known" problems, yet Chevrolet has not issued a recall on it. This car was over $50,000 and the problems I am having are not from wear and tear, they are clearly from defect.
Also neither leak ever hit the ground. Both leaks were landing on another part of the vehicle and we never got one drop of antifreeze or oil on the ground. If you have this vehicle, you may want to keep an eye out since the problem won't be visible on your garage floor.
It is not right that these big car manufacturers keep pumping this stuff out there with faulty parts and take absolutely no responsibility until they are forced to by mandates. My only hope now is that they are forced into a recall and I can file for my money back.

Sorry to hear about this. You are right - these are clearly defects. No vehicle that is less than 3 years old and 45,000 miles should have any sort of issues like you are seeing.
Quality at GM has gone to crap, starting with their 2009 bankruptcy, and just seems to be getting worse ever since. It's one reason I am still holding onto both my 2006 and 1996 Chevy pickup trucks. I've done some work over the years to the 1996, which has 203,800 miles on it, but that is to be expected at 28 years old. And I've got a running tally of just over $4,500 in maintenance over the years on that truck, since it ran out of warranty. And that INCLUDES things like brakes and tires over the years.
They SHOULD issue a recall. And the dealer ought to press GM to pay for the radiator replacement. I've only replaces the radiator ONCE in 28 years on my 1996 C1500 (in 2011), and never on my 2006 Silverado.

Within one week I had an oil leak, a crack in radiator, and now a cracked catalytic converter I was told is defective.
My 2021 Chevy Blazer RS was bought January of 2022 brand new, and has never been in an accident. It has also been well taken care of.
All are known defects and recalls, but not on my vehicle.
How is this even ok?
45,000 miles
Had to fight just to get cost assistance on the radiator and the other two repairs were covered by the power train warranty with the dealership advocating on my behalf.

Here's the dealerships estimate.
