Parts problem
I had my 2022 Blazer have transmission problems on 2023 Labor Day weekend. The first dealership I took it to supposedly repaired it. The vehicle failed to work properly on its way back home. I took it to a different Chevy dealership, and the vehicle has been there since. The dealership told me that Chevy is not making replacement parts for the vehicle, and therefore can’t be repaired. The dealership estimates the car won’t be repaired until spring of 2024. How is something like this possible?
Welcome from Florida. I am pretty sure that carmakers have to make replacement parts for 10 years. Take it back to the dealer that made the first repair and have them do it right this time. Is it still under warranty?
However, it would in their best business interest to have parts.
Maybe you mean that parts aren't available right now.
The 10 year law may not exist but there is a law that states that as long as a product is under warranty that the manufacturer has to make it good or make a refund. The Magnusan-Moss Warranty Act.
