02 Camaro Power Windows (both sides)
Greetings,
I have been reading many forums trying to figure this out, but my issue is a little bit different then the others, I have a 02 Z-28 Camaro 35th anniv addition
And both of my power windows are moving VERY slow, they will go up and down, but they are moving at a very slow speed, if i try and do both of them at the same time, they almost stop completely
For a car with 50,000 miles, is it possible that both motors are going out at the same time?
Also I had to replace the alternator a few miles back, and I have noticed that the power gauge sits right above the red lines, if i turn on the ac or use a blinker the needle sits in the highest point of the red, could this be connected to my power window issue?
Thanks.

When you replaced the alternator did you get good tension on the belt? Could cause power issues if it is loose. Also if it is the original battery and is on its way out that could be an issue. It could be as simple as a bad ground in the system(of coarse finding the bad ground is not always a simple matter).

thanks for your replies, ... battery is new was replaced when the alternator was, i checked the belt seems to be fine, although im not real car knowledge savvy.. so i might have to double check
how would i check out the ground?

Is the battery top post or side connection? I prefer the top post batteries they are just easier to deal with IMO. Start with the main battery connections if that is not a problem take one of the door panels off and trace the wires from the window motor itself. You could check your fuse block as well and see if anything has loosed itself or even go through you fuses with a test light.

There's a ground strap from your engine to your firewall that's also a world of misery. The smaller cars it's almost impossible to access. It carries the current from your frame(vehicle ground) to your negative cable(Bolted to the engine, remember?) and things like those slow windows are what you see when it starts to deny a ground path for current back to the battery. The next thing that happens is your metal throttle cable gets burned out from taking up the slack for your bad ground strap.(Been there, done that.)

(Sorry for my lousy english).
What if you use the switch on the other door? If that switch works better, then your problem is at the drivers side door. Probably an old wire gone loose.
Your battery voltage should be between 12 and 19 . AT least 12 but preferably 14.
While driving a constant speed, the meter should be in the middle . If it isnt, then it might become time to change your battery.
