1998 Camaro Z28 high idle
Hoping someone can help. I have a 1998 chevy camaro Z28 with about 103,000 miles on it and it has been parked in garage for this past winter. Recently started it up and after several attempts it started up but is idling around 2100 rpm's and will not decrease even after letting it idle for a while. It was my dads car and sat for almost 4 years until I took ownership. Had no probelms with the car in the fall (actually ran great) and I am wondering if anyone knows what may cause the high idle--looking to try to fix it myself. Could it be the mass air flow sensor/ vacuum leak? Thanks for any help.
