Unhappy 2013 Camaro 2SS

Hi,
I ordered my 2013 Camaro 2SS on Sept 21 , with polished aluminum rims (RUY). The dealer called me 10 days later to tell me about some disaster happened at the factory that produces them. So, I won`t be able to get them. But , I can get the ones for a 2012 model. The 2013`s have a different design than the 2012`s. I have waited a long time to finally get the exact car I want and I don`t really want last years equipment on my brand new car. But, I dont seem to have any choice if I want the car. Do you think GM will offer to replace them with the correct rims at a later date? I just think this is a crock !
Finally getting my dream car and having it built with my option selections, paying the extra price for them and then to have to settle for last years design .
Thanks,
Reid

It is a "crock"! You should get what you are paying for. If you ordered a 2013.... you should get the 2013 SS wheels.
If they offer to replace them at a later date.... make sure to get that in wrighting....

Your Dealer is an idiot...

2012 wheels don't come on 2013 Models.

He probably found a 2012 somewhere with your exact selected options and is going to try and pass it off to you.

You have been warned.

You should check the build your own site for 2013 model Camaro`s and see what options are available for the polished aluminum rims now. My dealer was straight up with me. You can even google the change in options for the rims and the natural disaster at the factory that produces them. But I still think GM should make it right eventually, for those who paid for the option and had to take last years design to get it.
