3rd Gen aftermarket stereo
Hey guy's/girls
I just purchased an 1987 Camaro and it had a CD player in it but it would only light up and show the radio station but there would be no sound at all. So i took the one out of my truck wired it all the way it should be and still no sound. I know that someone has had an amp in it because there are still cables ran to the back.
I've tried the suggestions of hooking up the power antenna wire even though it's not needed and still nothing. Any help?
Also when you put the speaker wires together you can hear a little bit of static until you have them secure.
So i was just out messing with the radio again for the hundredth time and i've noticed that my Antenna cable has power in it. It has to plugged into the radio in order for it to even turn on??? I took all of the other kids amp wires out of it thinking maybe that was the problem but nope.
