Default 4 Cylinders..

Not referring to the rumors involving the new camaro having a 4-cylinder... but, if I was interested in turbocharging a 4-cylinder chevrolet engine, which one is built strong enough to withstand it (or can be easily built to withstand it) while producing the most power?

I'm interested in RWD engines.

The vortec and the ecotec are really good 4-cylinder engines. The Ecotec makes more power and is more efficient than the vortec.

Know of anywhere that sells pre-modified ecotecs? I'm wanting 350-400hp out of it in the end.

the 98 or so 2.2 OHV can and has been built to handle 250rwhp but that was almost all out performance and pushing 11psi on a bad tune.
