Default Fuel Sending unit and tank for L69 cars

My fuel tank is leaking at the seams from rust. I plan to replace the tank and sending unit all at once. I can't find a sending unit for my car anywhere on the internet without going used. The helper fuel pump in the tank (main fuel pump mounted on block) is just as impossible to find. I'm sure the sending unit is in rough shape, because typical winter car tanks and sending units fuse into one mass rust piece over 5 to 10 years of NY winters (can be 8 months long). This car spent over 20 years in up-state NY and it showed when I first bought it. Can anyone tell me where to get a sending unit and replacement intank L69 type fuel pump? Winter is coming, and I hate cold starts now that the helper pump is broke. Thanks.

Thumbs up Two solutions for L69 sending unit problem

I have managed to get my sending unit repaired better than factory which is awesome considering you can't buy these anymore.

Solution 1:
I went this route.
Dan OHora from New York rebuilt my sending unit and even put a plug for the newer chevrolet throttle body helper pumps on it to make it easier to get a new compatible helper pump. here is the web site for his info...
Rebuilt Fuel Sending Unit Specialist

Solution 2:
While Dan was rebuilding my sending unit I went on a road trip to YearOne in Brazelton, GA to pick up a replacement gas tank. After telling the awesome staff there my story they informed me that they would have rebuilt it for me as well.....

Not sure which solution is best.

After Dan rebuilt my sending unit and told me which helper pump to buy, i had to cut about 1.5 inches out of my sending unit's fuel line to get the new pump to fit. It works like a champ!!!
