Default master cylinder in a 3rd gen

i am going to be swapping my drum rear and for a disk rear end and i heard that 4 wheel disk brakes require a different master cylinder, can anyone confirm or deny that?

im not sure about that but you should be able to make that one work with a proportioning valve....disc brakes dont require as much pressure to opperate....so you can adjust the pressure sent to the rear brakes with the valve.
