P2227 Code After Cold Air Intake
I just installed a cold air intake on a friend of mine’s car, and when we fired it up, the CEL came on and the baro sensor code is what came back. The first one was a generic one and the second said the reading was high. I popped the hood, and the clip was loose, so I popped it back in making sure it was tight. Boom problem solved it started with no check engine lights, and she just texted me saying she has another light on the dash. Is there a way to remedy this without going back to factory intake? P227 code on 2018 2.0T Camaro

I want to say most “cold air intakes” are actually hot air intakes. The whole purpose of cold engine inlet air is the science behind it. Colder air is more oxygen dense. More oxygen density paired with more fuel will (generally) create more power.
when you put an engine air inlet in a hot engine bay, it’s helping nothing and often losing power unless you have the hood completely removed. People just like the sound because you often remove some sort of silencer or resonator for the intake pipe.
furthermore, turbocharged engines will receive even less of a benefit with these so called cold air intakes because while they do rely on cold air supply from the turbo inlet pipe, they more so rely on an efficient intercooler to cool charge air that’s actually entering the intake manifold.

The first one was generic and the second said the reading was high. I popped the hood and found the clip was loose, so I snapped it back in securely. Boom, problem solved, things were looking good, just like searching for Apartments for sale in Athens when you finally find a great option, it started with no check engine lights, but now she just texted saying another light came on the dash.
