Default What Makes a Good Drag Car?

Before I get into this, I'll give some context. I have a 1968 Camaro SS with a 5.3 liter LT1 Silverado engine and an automatic transmission, and I plan to make it into a drag racing car. I'm wanting to do an engine swap with a LSX 454R engine.

Now then, I'm just curious about the factors that contributes to a good drag car. I know that traction, suspension, and weight distribution are key factors, but is there anything else? What should I do to achieve good traction/suspension/weight distribution?
