Ok guys this is my first post, I have a 1988 Caprice LS with the ugly vinyl roof that was ruined. I removed the outer layer of the roof and that is when I seen the fiberglass section that attaches to the rear window. So here's the deal. with this fiberglass section it attaches to the rear window area taking up room of the full size rear window. It has a half size rear window because of this setup from the factory. Now... has anyone ever pulled out the fibergass window mounting and installed a full size rear window? I will try to take pics when it quits raining and post them for the people who have not seen this weird set up from the factory..lol
I just want to know if anyone has done this rear window replacement so you can forever be done with the vinyl roof. Thanks Walter
