Hi I am a new member and i was wanting to see if any one knows what the transmission shift points are for a 4 speed TH-700-R4 automatic transmission.

And how can you tell if a transmission has really been rebuilt?

Take it apart and look at the clutches and bands.

Shift points are the same for all ATs, 1st:10-13mph, 2nd: 12-25-30, 3rd: 30-up, 4th-above 42-45mph. All depending on road conditions and throttle position.
