I have replace the fuel pump, fuel filter, and battery. It cranks, and if you pour has in the top it starts. It is a 350 motor, best guess is that it is a throttle body. Could someone tell me why it isn't getting gas.

 

Hi Julius I have the same vehicle 5.7 and mine won't start either. If I spray starting fluid in carburator it will start and run fine. I have replaced the fuel filter. Some times it starts fine and some times it acts like this. If I ever figure out my problem I will write you back and tell you.

 

Make sure you are getting gas to the throttle body . Loosen the line a tad and have some one turn on the ignition .

Make sure the wiring to the injectors is OK .

Think there is a fuel pressure regulator ? Excess fuel is returned to the tank ? Try to figure out if the regulator is working ?

Any loose wiring / sensors or vacuum lines od vacuum gadgets ?

Get a Haynes or Chilton book .

I can go online to our local library and get some Chilton info .
