Default Engine Swap

New here to this forum. I'm looking at a 1990 Caprice with the 305 engine. I'm wondering how easy the 305 would be to swap with a 350. And if there is a real noticeable increase in horsepower and torque? I'm hoping it's going to just be something I can drop in without any major adjustment.

dropping a 350 in in place of a 305 is fairly easy, especially since caprices had an optional 350 upgrade.... as for horsepower and torque, you would have to check the diagnostics on the old engine and the new one, but for the most part 350s are alot beastier than their younger, smaller brother.
