Default Need help with tune port 350

Okay so I have a few questions regarding my tune port 350 inside my 87 Caprice it has a comp cam roller cam, MSD ignition. As well as 3 different hyper chips. I have never worked with a tune port before I hear some guys say you can get big power out of them and others tell me that carb is the way to go a little input would be nice. And I also have a few questions about gear ratios it has open 308s in it now. The car takes off like a rocket but then falls on its face I think the shift kit is the only reason it gets out of the hole good. I took 2nd in a spectator drag on a oval track but I would like it to go better don't we all. Thank you

Why add all those high performance parts and run a 3.08? Change it. You won`t believe the difference.

Somewhere between a 3.43 and 3.73 posi would be great if you drive it on the street. 4.11 probably too low and turn too many rpm`s unless its a track car only.
