Nwebie with questions about 1975 Caprice Classic
Picked up a barn find and had it towed home this past Saturday. It is burnt orange in color.
I am trying to figure out what color it is and the engine size.
Any help appreciated.

CF Monarch
The cowl tag will tell you where it was built, interior\exterior colors etc. Going out on a limb, small block 327. Does it have a 2 b Rochester carb?

My '75 has a 400 small block. You could get a 454
or a 350 as well. The big block would be obvious,
the small blocks are harder to tell apart. There
ought to be a boss on the engine block with a code
that you can chase down.
Of course by this point anything could have happened.
Mine had an overheating problem that ended up being
due to some cheese head using the wrong head gasket
(400s are "special") when they swapped a mismatched
head onto it. I swapped them both for a fresh set of "1X"
9:1 CR big valve heads and proper gaskets.
