t56 into 84 Caprice
I have the ability to get a $150 dollar Caprice with no rust but a bad transmission.
It has the 305 V8 and is absolutely pristine, and I've always wanted a 6 speed Caprice or panther platform Ford (Hence the Town Car I own waiting for it's own t3650 or t56), but I don't know how feasible it is in a Caprice.
I have no money into the car up front so I am not worried about the cost of parts, especially since I am going to be doing the work myself, I just want to know if anyone has done it before, or know of a "parts list" that would be required to do this swap. Or any tips on how to make life easier.
The transmission I would use is a t56 six speed, probably out of a 4th gen (5th gen? The one from the 90's) Camaro.
