2013 Captiva LT: Left front low beam headlight out
I removed the 9 clips and 3 machine screws, replaced the bulb, and it didn't work.
I looked online and I'm pretty sure the Peak H11-55W is the correct bulb.
I put 12 volts direct to the new bulb with test leads, and it lit up fine.
Next step is to look for voltage at the female side of the quick-release plug.
It's my daughter-in-law's car, so I won't see it until tomorrow.
This is a 2 wheel drive Captiva, probably model LT, with 90K miles on it, parked outside in Massachusetts.
I am a 73 yr old with a lifetime history of 'simple' projects like light bulb replacements going wrong.
Also I am the worst dirt rider in the state, as my KTM 200 XC-W with lots of plastic damage will show.
