2014 captiva the heater does not come on and the blend doors do not activate, only stays in one position, have checked all fuses, radiator fluid is good, both heater hoses going into the fire wall are hot, only the blower speeds work. stays in cooling

 

I've got the same thing going on, what did you find out on yours?

My son's Captiva was stuck in cold only and actuators wouldn't move but checked ok when power applied.
Just removed XM/HVAC/DLC 15 amp fuse in the pass. side fuse box for 1 minute. Fixed it for now. Brought everything in the HVAC control back.
