Default Captiva runs rough on cold start

Have a 2014 Captiva LS that runs rough for about 30-45 seconds on a cold start. After that it idles fine. If I turn it off and back on in a short amount of time it starts fine. Only seems to be rough if we let it sit for an hour or more. Have replaced spark plugs/boots and camshaft position sensor (had a p0013 code). There was no engine light when this situation started, the p0013 popped up 3 days ago so I replaced the sensor. Reset the engine light and it still runs rough at cold start.

do you have a scanner that will tell you what the coolant temp is reading?

While there are a number of reasons your Chevrolet Captiva LS has a rough idle, the most common 3 are a vacuum leak, an issue with the spark plugs, or a problem with the ignition coil.

I just replaced the spark plugs and boots. If it was a vacuum leak or ignition coil wouldn't that be an issue throughout? It idles fine after the initial 30-45 seconds of starting. No issues driving or stopping at a light.

I do not have a scanner, I borrow one from auto zone.. But, the issue is at initial startup so the temp would be ambient.. I don't have an issue after the initial 30-45 seconds after starting it, it drives and stops at lights fine. I have noticed if it sits more than say 20 min it starts rough again but if I start it within minutes of turning it off it runs fine.

take a peek in the throttle body. See if there's any buildup on the throttle plate, MAF sensor, or idle control valve and channels.

Default same problem

i have a 2012 chevy captiva 2.4 and it has the same issue. upon initial cold start it will idle fine when in high idle but as soon as it starts to idle down it start rough idling and will even die.If you press the accelerator at all it will stop rough idling and idle perfectly fine. after it stops rough idling it will not doing it again until you turn off the car and let sit for 10+ minutes. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
