Default 88 celebrity warm engine issue

my celebrity runs very rough when it has reached operating temp, then turned off for a short period of time, it starts up idleing rough and eratic until engine is raced then it seems to clear up. it starts up with NO problem when its cold ( not ran overnight) A mechanic ruled out the computer is not putting out a rpm signal, he replaced with new one and no change he also replaced crankshaft sensor, I have replaced coolanttemp, oxygen, map , tps sensors and no improvement, all this is costing me more than what the car is worth but I cannot afford to buy another car at this point, any ideas would be a big help, Thanks ....John

+1 means I agree with that statement
It will only run better if thats what is causing the problem

well funny thing happened that convined me it is the ignition module , I disconnected the 3 harness connections one night, then next day I cleaned the contacts ( they weren't really dirty ) and reconnected them and car ran better for a day or 2, I don't understand why but I read that same thing happened to someone else wrote in a simular formum,Does this make any sense? the 3 connections were all tight and not corroded at all.

well now i'm thinking my Eprom may be bad so I ordered a stock one for my specific ecm, so I have question , what should I try first or should I say if my ICM is bad will it kill the new EPROM and vise versa? so Should I install both the new parts at same time, or is there a risk of one damaging another? (possiblby bad ICM with new EPROM or new ICM with possibly bad EPROM) another reason I got a new Eprom is because I'm not sure if former owner did a speed densidy conversion and didn't put any id or stickers saying it was done, I assume it was converted because The maf relay had been removed and when My mechanic scanned my ecm , he got eratic readings which is descriibed in a article I read on a speed densidy conversion. so with stock EPROM the system would use the maf and its relay, and also a stock IAC which I have bought already. This car has me confused but I think I'm on the right track, I hope

Thankfully, the Hills honey didn't have to worry about any stalkers last night when she dined at the West Hollywood eatery, though she might have gained a few more admirers after parading around in this scorching hot getup!
