I have a 2007 2.0 Captiva,and it's starting very hard,but once it is started,there is no problem and the second start is always normal,good.But after 1 day,again the first start is the same(hard,I have to try a second time to start)here in Romania nobody knows this problem,please help me

 

Welcome from Florida. It sounds like the check valve in the fuel pump assembly is bad. It is allowing the gas to drain back into the tank. You can add a check valve in the gas line or just replace the fuel pump.

 

My last visit at the service was with this ,the mechanic checked the fuel pressure ,he changed the fuel hose and he said that its not loosing any fuel...It was our guess also,and he also said that the spark plugs are OK,my battery is new,my injectors are renewed (cleaned) I don't know ...:-( I already spent 1300 euro

 

The fuel pressure will be good when it is running. It's when it sits that the gas drains back into the gas tank then it has to refill the lines to get the pressure high enough to start..
