Radio comes on when car is off
Hello! I have a 2014 Captiva, and I am pretty sure this thing is a lemon!! First the motor was rebuilt under warranty for oil consumption issues. Second, I turn the car off, get out, and some random time later the radio comes on and kills the battery enough that the car alarm then goes off. It has been to the dealership and another shop 3 times for a week each and they can't figure it out. Chevy said it was a hood latch sensor and charged me $353 to change that, nope not it. A friend with a shop suspects the shifter wiring harness or the ignition switch, another that a module is going bad. HELP!? I can't afford to get a different car for another year! So right now I am unhooking my battery every time I get home or go to work. This is embarrassing and ridiculous!! Any help?? I have read other forum posts that say this is a problem, but no solution!
