Default "electric supercharger"

i was looking at parts online and i stumbled on an "electric supercharger." now i saw the price and i was in disbelief but i looked at it and it is something that connects to a cold air intake. it looks like an electric air pump that jams air up the tube. does anyone know if this is a good buy? here is a website for the part on ebay.

Don't even waste your time with those. Its basically a hair dryer fan in a turbo shell. You can't run them for more than like 15 minutes or co and they only produce like 800cfm. Might work on a go-kart...

It will do both if its a true Cold Air Intake. You should see a 5-10% HP gain and probably one or two more miles per gallon.
