I have an '89 Z-24 with low miles and it runs great. However, I am having a problem in that I can't keep coolant in it. At first, I could find no leek whatsoever. Now I see it is leaking out the radiator cap. I switched the cap from the overflow to the radiator, and vice versa, but it still leaks. It is at its worst when I fill the coolant. Any suggestions? look for cracks.

 

Definetley look for cracks. My wifes Eclipse was leaking out from a crack in the plastic at the top of the radiator. JB Weld was the answer, til I fix it right.

 

have you recently changed the coolant or had it changed?
