1996 chevy cavalier steering column
I was told for inspection my steering column is lose, and told them to tighten it along with replace a brake line, tires, and fix rusted frame.
They looked into it, said they didn't have the special tool for the steering column, and it wasn't bad enough to fix for inspection. After I left I noticed I can move the wheel around more then usual. Just wondering how much that will cost to have fixed?
Already put more into this car then I had planned. The car ran fine when I bought it, figured it wouldn't need anything to pass inspection, but thats where they get you.
