Default 1997 Cavalier wont start

I am having a problem with my 1997 Cavalier RS 2.2l automatic (3 gear I am pretty sure). I can't get the thing to start. I have tried a new battery, new starter solenoid (starter works fine. My father drives a 99 sunfire so I have been using that as a control to check my parts such as my starter), I changed the ignition switch, and even the starter relay. I'm pretty muc at my wits end with this thing and I was hoping someone here would be able to help.

If I didn't list enough information just let me know and I will get you whatever you need to help me. Thanks for your time.

Sorry I didn't put that in the first post, I'm new to all of this (first time really working on a car). It won't crank.

With the key switch on, do you have lights/dash guages ect.? If so, I'd suggest either putting it in nuetral or holding the gear shift hard in park. Could be a nuetral saftey switch.

Yeah everything is working, the car just won't start. That's what we were thinking. Might pull the one off of my fathers to see if that's it. Any way to bypass that until I can replace it if that ends up being the issue?

You'd have to locate the switch, and jumper it out, close the contacts in other words. That is what it is a nuetral "saftey" switch. If you jumper it out it (if thats the problem) start with it in gear.
