the a/c compressor on my 1997 cavalier sounds like it is going to come apart. can i put on a shorter serpentine belt and just bypass the compressor. thought maybe at the parts store just ask for a cavalier with NO A/C. can this be done??

Yeah your correct, just go to a parts store and ask for a belt for a 97 with no ac
