2.2/2.2ecotec
i bought another 2.2 cavi and its an ecotec i only needed body parts but mine needs a cv axle and mines non ecotec my question is will the ecotecs cv fit on mine? also the ecotec motor spun a rod bearing is it worth fixing?
I would compare parts number on rockauto to see the compatibility of the axles. hard to say without knowing the model years.
if it spun a rod bearing it might have been oil starved. if you don't know the history of this car, I would just get a used motor from a quality auto recycler...they are cheap.
