Default 2000 Cavalier Radio

I have no sound coming from my radio. I have an original car radio and a pioneer radio I sent out for diagnostics which came back optimal condition. No sound comes out with CD's or Radio. I do not have a pink antenna trigger wire as is listed, Pink is not in the original harness. Here is my question.
B1 orange wire is 12 volt dc constant and B5 and A12 are negative wires. I do not have a schematic but the internet shows that an ignition 12 volt has to be ran additionally due to lack of radio internal switching device. I'm confused because when i have the key in the on position the radio lights up (no sound). There I have 12 volts between the terminals mentioned. Then I turn the ignition on and the screen power continues at the same terminals (still no sound). What effect would I get without the switched 12 volt wire from the ignition switch? What terminal on the connector does the ignition switch positive go to? What else would cause no sound to come from any of the speakers with 2 good radios?
Here is the terminal connection I have:
A12 Black Battery Neg-
A11 Dark Blue Right Rear Speaker Pos+
A10 Light Blue Right Rear Speaker Neg-
A09 Grey Left Front Speaker Neg-
A08 Tan Left Front Speaker Pos+
A01 Purple
B01 Orange 12 volt Constant Pos+
B04 Grey Car Radio Illumination
B05 Black chasis ground
B08 Brown Left Rear Speaker Pos+
B09 Yellow Left Rear Speaker Neg-
B10 Dark Green Right Front Speaker Neg-
B11 Light Green Right Front Speaker Pos+
As you can see I have 2 wires that can not be identified. Can one be an antenna trigger and the other be a switched 12 volt ignition wire?
I just need sound. Someone please help. Right now I have the factory radio installed.

if you have the system without an amp ie. 4 speaker and 2 tweeters.
the purple is a class 2 wire to the bcm for communication with other car modules...used for RAP that shuts the radio down after 10mins or door ajar...which won't work with an aftermarket radio so leave it out.
the diagram i have does not show an ignition feed to the radio. the factory unit doesn't need one...the class 2 wire and bcm determines when it on or off. if your aftermarket radio needs one....feed it one and see if the radio works. if you put in the factory unit...connect the purple wire.
b5 is a grd as you have identified.

are all the speakers the same ohm rating? if they aren't...the radio thinks its a short and stops power output. to test this theroy....disconnect all the speakers but 1.

I disconnected all the speakers and reconnected each one by itself to see if any sound would come out. None produced sound. I need to do more voltage checks. I imagine that the A12 neg and B1 Pos+ along with the purple wire should produce sound from any speaker wire pair with an external speaker. Would that be correct? One other observation, the RKE remote keyless entry module is not working because the car won't go into teach mode for the new key FOBS. Electric door locks work from the inside door switches. Does anyone know where the RKE is located?

The main thing is would the radio work without the purple wire? Which wires are a must? I don't even know why there is a second ground wire. Not sure if one is a battery ground and the other is a component housing ground?

Ok guys, I ran into the key fob programming not working as well. Does that lean towards a Body Control Module issue. I went to the junk yard and pulled a BCM and tried programming it. These were my steps but not sure if I'm wrong. Battery disconnected, I connected the brown blue and purple plugs into the BCM. Then I put the key in the ON position to see that the dash marked anti-theft. Then I pulled the key out. Put it back in the On position for 10 min repeating 3 times for a total of 30 min and then started the car. The Anti-theft went away but the car radio sound will stillnot come out and the remote door lock system will not go into programming mode by closing the door, putting the key into the ignition, pressing the unlock button and holding while i turn the key from ON to OFF 2 times before releasing the unlock button on the door. No sounds of the door locks tripping on and off to signal that it is in teach mode. Maybe I am doing it wrong for a 2000 Cavalier. Any input out there????
