2000 Chevy Cavalier Instrument Cluster swap.
So I'm curious about this and if anyone can shed some light on this for me. I have a 2000 Cav that has no tachometer in it's instrument cluster. I'm thinking of swapping it out for one that has a tach in it. Will I need to do anything extra just to get it working or is it as simple as plugging in?
I have a 2000 cavalier thats an auto matic and did this exact thing its just plug and go tach works with no issues or reprogramming needed.

dude you rock been trying to find the very answer for a week. Have 97 base I mean one less feature and it would have zero options. I assume this applies to the rest of gauges as well?
