I have a 2000 z24 manual and I just recently started experiencing a situation when I shift into first gear and start to go the rpms drop, car either dies or if it doesn't the rpms then surge up and the car jumps forward. The car seems to be fine at driving speeds and on initial startup but the symptoms start soon after. I am thinking it may be the IAC or TPS but need to check them. Has anyone else had this problem or any ideas as to what may be causing this???

 

I just ended up bringing it into the shop and they said it was a bad Fuel Pressure Regulator... I hope this does the trick.
