Default 2001 Cavalier Emergency Brake

I cannot find an adjustment for my 2001 cavalier emergency brake. I have adjusted the rear drums and they are good. I climbed under the car and could not find any adjusting nuts. I also looked inside the console and could not find anything.
Thanks for your help

its suppose to be self adjusting. Apply and release it 6x.

I have tried the brake adjustment but that is not the problem. The cable is stretched or something is worn. I am trying to adjust the cable but I starting to think that my only option is to replace the cable. I am hoping someone can give me an idea on how to take up the slack. It is not a lot . The brake works but you really have to pull hard on it

the only manual adjustment you can do is at the drum brake star wheel. If that is set up with to much clearance you will also have a deep pedal at the service brake.

If that is set up correctly and you still have no ebrake; yep...cables or e-brake lever assembly.
