I have a 2001 that my son has been using for a couple of years. He doesn't need it anymore, and I'm trying to get it on the road again. No exhaust on it from the cat back, and it hasn't been started for a few months. The battery was frozen. Thawed it out and gave it a small charge, then tried to boost it to get it running. Can hear the pump come on, but not firing. While cranking it, the Passlock indicator is the only thing on the dash lit up. Any ideas, I've never had any experience with this sort of thing. Appreciate any suggestions.

 

I probably should clarify this. What I have no experience with is this "Passlock" issue. I'm thinking this is something that disables the vehicle from running. What would cause this? The car wasn't tampered with. Could it be coming on because the battery is dead and I was trying to boost it?
