Has anyone tried to anchor a child car seat in the 2 door model? There are upper anchors in the back window, but I cannot find lower anchors for the seat. The seat belt does not stop the car seat from moving sideways, any suggestions?

 

pull the seat belt alllll the way out, then put it around the child seat and let is retract. It will now be stuck\locked in place untill you undo the belt and retract it all the way back in.
as for the upper anchor, you can buy anchor kits at your local jobber, and some cars will have a threaded hole for this, others do not.
Go into the trunk and look up at the rear parcel shelf and look for a nut that has been welded on. Then find that spot up top, cut a small hole in the carpeted shelf and thread the bolt in. Otherwise you have to pick a spot from underneath that is nice and flat, and drill your own hole
