I have a 2004 Cavalier with the racing stripes from factory. I had to have the hood paint re-done after a fight with an EZ-up and some wind. I had the body work done at my Chevy Dealer because of the stripes. Now about 120,000 miles later the hood stripes are flaking while the stripes on the rest of the car look like new. I was wondering if anyone has a Cav. with the original stripes still on and with over 100,000 miles. Are your factory stripes still ok or is the hood stripes flaking off as well. I'm thinking the stripes the dealer put on weren't the same quality as the factory.
