Unhappy 96 Cavalier 2.4 Jumped Timing? Wont start

I have a 96 Cavalier with the 2.4. Was driving it up interstate, it lost power, and died. Now it won't start. I have fuel but no fire. Starter will crank but nothing. Changed Coil pack and plugs it didn't help. The old plug boots were melted and worped...not sure how long they were that way. It was running fine until it died. A friend said he thinks it jumped timing and worped a head and he said the crankshaft senor tested fine. Its throwing codes for the Knock Sensor and Torque Converter switches.

Any clue guys?? I really need to get this thing on the road and can't afford a new engine.

Smile Codes

I wrote them down and dont have them near the computer.
There was a knock sensor code and an O2 sensor code and 2 codes for the torque converter. I had just had a seal replaced in the tranny. Im thinking the guy didnt re-install the engine right.

The car has 133000 miles on it.

Its getting fuel i can smell it. Also it seems that something is making the coil pack stick if that makes sense. It will a make a noise after the key is shut off and wont stop unless i unplug it. I burned the old coil pack up that way.

ANY help will be appreciated. Thanks so much guys!!!

With help, take off a plug wire, with a screwdriver in it, and hold it a 1/2" from a ground, crank the engine to see if it is getting spark.
