ok i have a 96 cavalier with 206000 miles on it, i have only owned the car for about 2 weeks now and so far its been great, actually one of my better vehicles. my question is how many miles is a 2.2 usually good for without a rebuild? and also can anyone give me a good site to check the prices of a replacement motor if i ever need it?

 

Reliablity of a motor is totally dependant on maintenance, and preventive maintenance. And of course how hard you are on it.
