Default 98 cav headlights

Hi I have a 98 cav with 275k on it and about a week ago both the headlights and the dlr quit working. The high beams and all other lights work. Replaced the bulbs and the headlight switch with no luck any ideas?

did you check the fuses? After that, check the low side of the relay for the low beams with them on to see if there is voltage there. If there is then you could have a bad relay. If there is no voltage, you have to check the wiring before the relay and any grounds after it.

This could be linked to some bad wiring or switch in the hand brake. If I am correct, the switch turns off the DRL with the hand brake pulled up. A faulty switch or wiring on this circuit could cause the DRL to not come on and possibly even be related to your low beams. Checking a wiring diagram for your car would be best.
