Default Headlight problem on '99 Cav

I'm having a strange problem with my headlights on my '99 Cav. The driver side lamps work fine, but both lamps on the passenger side are dim all the time. I replaced the lamps, but the new ones are dim too. I checked the fuses, they are fine too. Switching between hi beams and low beams doesn't make a difference, the passenger side is dim all the time.

Any ideas? This is stumping me and my friends.

you may have to replace the socket. its cheap and easy to try anyway.

Check the electrical ground circuit for a good connection.

Do you mean the sockets the lamps plug into?

Are the grounds for left and right headlights separate? If there is just one and its a problem with the ground connection, wouldn't both the left and right side have problems?
